Here’s a few ways you can get over them —
- cry
- cry a lot
- cry some more
- burn pictures
- pawn jewelry
- eat ice cream
- vent to friends
- cry some more
- delete pictures
- profile pictures, tagged pictures, mutual friend pictures, untag them suckas
- unfollow them on twitter, remove them from your FB feed
- remove any emojis from their name in your phone
- do. not. talk to them for any reason at all
- cry a little more
And then, my friend, you pick your damn self up and come to the realization that if:
- they cheated — thet didnt respect you and you do deserve better
- they betrayed you — someone else’s feelings were obviously more important than yours and again, you deserve better.
- they give up on you — in their opinion, you weren’t worth a little more of their effort, and you DESERVE BETTER
- they ‘cant be the man/woman you need’ — believe that no matter how much it may seem like bullsh!t and take it for what it is.
Last but not least, realize that there is someone out there who won’t cheat, wont betray you, wont give up on you, and will be the person you need. Find comfort in knowing that because it is a fact. They won’t be perfect but they will be just what the good Lord ordered.
Follow these simple yet overwhelmingly difficult steps and you’re on the road to being a-okay.
have a nice day
