Last week Saturday, instead of lounging around my place like I usually do, I decided to take myself on a museum hopping adventure around Houston. I only got the chance to see two museums but it was a fun trip nonetheless. I visited the Houston Heritage Society Museum and the Art Car museum, both of which are free! Everybody should indulge themselves in a little history and art every now and then.
A few photos I took with my iPhone:

Next on my list for museum hopping: the Descendants of Olivewood Cemetary. I know, creepy right!? It was the first incorporated African American cemetery in Houston and as weird as it is, I want to visit it for the thrill as well as to learn a little something about who’s buried there and whatever other interesting, creepy stuff I can learn. Also, being an artist at heart, I’m going to check out the Station Museum, one dedicated to street art aka graffiti.
Stay tuned for those posts!
Happy Friday! & rememeber,
