I saw a tweet today that said “shout out to everyone with an open mind”. I quickly retweeted it but I felt the need to really pay somewhat of homage to those individuals. I, myself have an immense appreciation for your existence simply because it is people like you that keep this life interesting. You’re not so caught up on ONE view, one mindset, one opinion. You allow yourself, not only to learn but to educate. You shed light while its shed on you and I embrace your presence in this life because you embrace ideals other than your own. You naturally give others a chance. Those who barricade their thoughts and lives around their one sided ideals lose out on so much and you can only do so much as explain to them how and why.. but what use is it when their mind isn’t as free & often renewed as yours? All you can do is hope that one day they allow themselves the opportunity to experience everything else there is in this world of thoughts other than their own, other than what they’ve been taught, other than “all they’ve known”. A big shout out to everyone with an open mind.
