Christopher Francis Ocean/Christopher Breaux; He has easily become one of my absolute favorite artist. There is just something about the sound of his music and his lyrics that can always sooth my mind no matter how I may be feeling. I love artists who make music about their lives and make it relate-able to just about anyone who listens to it. And he is one of those artists. Yes of course he sings about love and heartbreak but he is still unique in his work. He’s somewhat of a metaphor oriented writer and tells stories in his songs from my observation in his lyrics and that’s something that I favor about him. He’s apart of the group OFWGKTA, which I don’t too much care for, but in that group he stands out because he has a sound all his own. His album “Channel Orange” comes out next month and I’m really excited to see what he’s come up with. I know he won’t disappoint!!
